What is Korea 43°

We do not simply move products. We build markets for them.

A producer makes the product. Korea 43 checks whether it can travel: quality, origin, paperwork, packaging, supply, and whether a buyer in Korea would want it. If it fits, we help prepare the file and start the commercial conversation. This website does not take orders, show prices, or open a cart.

Buyers in South Korea get a short list of products that have already been chosen and documented. They talk to one European contact. They do not browse a catalogue of everything the Mediterranean exports.

01

Selected products

Fewer products with a clear origin and a story that can travel to Korea.

02

Fit checked for Korea

We ask whether the product belongs in the market—not whether Croatia has another exporter.

03

Prepared step by step

Certificates, labels, logistics, and launch details, gathered before a buyer is asked to decide.

Why 43°

43°

Different latitudes. Same curiosity.

43 is the Adriatic latitude—about 43.3°N—where much of this food comes from. Seoul sits at 37.6°N. Different latitudes on purpose; the same curiosity for distinctive products, craft, and stories worth discovering.

The origin

Sea, stone, olive groves, and small-batch makers.

37.6°N · Seoul

The market

Importers, retailers, and hospitality buyers who look beyond the usual list.

Not the same parallel — the contrast is the point. Seoul sits 5.7° further south than the Adriatic reference.

How it works

Six steps from producer to the Korean market.

Each product moves at its own pace. Some steps are quick; others wait on new labels, certificates, or packaging.

  1. 01

    Discover

Find Croatian and Mediterranean makers with a distinctive product and a story worth telling.

  2. 02

    Review & select

Check quality, origin, supply, documents, and whether Korean buyers would want it.

  3. 03

    Prepare to import

Gather certificates, allergens, labels, packaging, and shipping data for Korea.

  4. 04

    Position & build

Shape how the product is described and introduced in the Korean market.

  5. 05

    Distribute

Connect with importers, retailers, and selected hotels, restaurants, and cafés.

  6. 06

    Grow

Add volume and categories where sales prove out.

Product universe

Categories, not a catalogue.

These are the kinds of products we pursue—olive oil, salt, cheese, truffles, honey, wine, spirits, and more. Each one is chosen individually for quality, origin, and fit with Korea.

Later, when rules allow

Cured meats and other delicacies join only when regulation, cold chain and commercial terms are workable.

For Croatian producers

Could your product travel to Korea?

If you make food or drink in Croatia or the wider Mediterranean, read what we look for, then answer a short set of questions. We review fit before anyone in Korea sees your name.

What we look for

  • A real origin and a story that belongs to the product.
  • Consistent quality and professional packaging.
  • An export price that can work after import and retail in Korea.
  • Enough production to keep supplying.
  • Technical documents, certificates and allergen information.
  • Carton, pallet and shipping data.
  • Willingness to adapt a label or description when Korean rules require it.

For Korean buyers

A short list for Korea—not a catalogue.

Importers, retailers, distributors, and hotels, restaurants, and cafés get products that are already chosen and documented. Tell us what you want to carry, or write to sales with a specific question.

  • A short list chosen for quality, origin, and fit—not a catalogue of everything Croatia makes.
  • Story, labels, and shipping details gathered before you commit time.
  • One European contact for listings, distribution, or partnership questions.

Vision

Online first. A place in Seoul when the products have earned it.

We start online. A physical place in Seoul comes only after products prove they sell.
